PIER#1 BREAKWATER REPAIR

Location:  US Navy Naval Station, Rota, Spain.
Client: Naval Facilities Engineering Command, US Navy
Main project features:
Breakwater repair. 3t rocks. 8t, 16t and 25t tetrapods. 110t blocks. Dredging. 
Position held:  Site Manager.


Actividades realizadas:
In charge of all on site operations, working with contractors and subcontractors and ensuring the building contract runs to schedule. A site manager controls all aspects of the site including planning work, arranging delivery of materials and managing a range of subcontractors, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring a contract is delivered on time.

Lifting the first block to transport it from the production area to the boarding area.
Towing the barge with rockfill to the downloading area. Being a breakwater repair project the rocks were placed in the spots previously designated by bathymetry and divers.
